It is hard not to be attracted to the chrysoprase gemstone. The bright green immediately sends a feeling of happiness and tranquility. In Gabrielle’s jewelry it can be found on a vermeil bracelet, in a pair of drop earrings, or as tiny faceted beads on a rosary wire necklace. The earliest appearances of chrysoprase in jewelry were in rings as signets for stamping ones signature on a document or letter.

Gabrielle’s Custom Creativity
For our first post narrating Gabrielle’s custom designed jewelry pieces, we decided to feature the gorgeous Paula Edwards in her stunning necklace!
The combination of Paula’s vision and Gabrielle’s creativity resulted in a uniquely layered necklace of large, grey, satiny pearls, vermeil gold links (in varying sizes), faceted sparkling labradorite gemstones, and a luminous solar quartz. The wonderful element to this piece is that it is elegant enough to wear for a night out with a little black dress and lovely enough paired with a white tunic for lunch out with the girls.

Venetian Glass Turned Modern
Ancient Venetian Glass is one of the Mediterranean’s most beautiful contributions to the art world. Glass blowing was one of the most popular occupations and greatly supported the Italian trading and economy. Gabrielle designed the vermeil jewelry around the light blue glass that comes in chunky and lighter forms.
